Bleak winter’s solitary saving grace,
pale moonlight alongside the stars above.
Their luminescence settles on your dace,
my peace ensconced within my nightlit love.
To muffle up the satellite so bright
would nary be true passage to the sky.
A free horizon beckons me to flight,
to dance among the glowing points so high.
Sweet cadence will we find among the stars,
the milky way’s unwritten symphony.
I’ve made a rhythm for this love of ours,
come journey into deep unknown with me.
Brief glimpses into space make one thing clear:
my meaning’s true whenever you are near.
